ADHD Coaching for Adults

ADHD coaching for adults is a structured, one-on-one partnership that helps adults with ADHD build practical strategies for planning, time management, routines and follow-through. Liliana Turecki is a certified ADHD coach based in Montreal who offers online ADHD coaching for adults by video.

Living with ADHD as an adult can make everyday responsibilities harder to manage, even when you know exactly what needs to be done. Work, appointments, household tasks and personal goals can all compete for your attention at once.

Coaching with Liliana is practical and personalized. Together, you find where things are getting stuck and build strategies that fit your brain and the way you actually live and work.

The goal is not perfect productivity. It is to create enough structure, clarity and accountability that daily life feels more manageable and progress becomes easier to sustain.

What ADHD Coaching Can Help With

ADHD coaching focuses on executive function: the skills that help you plan, organize, start tasks, manage time and follow through. Coaching can help you build practical strategies and coping skills for:

  • Managing daily routines and responsibilities

  • Getting started on difficult or overwhelming tasks

  • Prioritizing when everything feels important

  • Organizing work, appointments and everyday commitments

  • Managing time more realistically

  • Breaking larger responsibilities into smaller next steps

  • Building accountability and following through consistently

Many adults have already tried planners, reminders, apps and productivity systems. Coaching helps you understand why those systems stop working, and build approaches that are simpler, more flexible and better suited to your real life.

ADHD Coaching for Late-Diagnosed and Older Adults

Many adults are diagnosed with ADHD in their 40s, 50s, 60s or later. A late diagnosis can bring relief and clarity. It can also leave you asking what to do now, especially after years of strategies that only partly worked.

Life transitions can also make ADHD harder to manage. Retirement, for example, often removes the external structure that work used to provide. Without fixed schedules and deadlines, days can lose their shape, routines can slip, and overwhelm can build up in unexpected ways.

Liliana works with late-diagnosed and older adults to:

  • Make sense of a new diagnosis in practical, everyday terms

  • Rebuild routines and structure after retirement or other major changes

  • Create systems for appointments, household tasks and personal projects

  • Set meaningful goals for this stage of life and follow through on them

It is never too late to build strategies that work with your ADHD instead of against it.

Support for Emotional Overwhelm and Burnout

ADHD is not only about organization. Many adults also live with frustration, self-criticism and the exhausting feeling of knowing what to do but not being able to do it. Over time, this can lead to emotional overwhelm and burnout.

Coaching can help you notice the patterns behind overwhelm and reduce the pressure of an always-full mental load. It can help you respond to setbacks with more understanding and less shame, and build coping strategies for strong emotional reactions, including sensitivity to criticism or rejection. Coaching does not replace therapy, but it can be a practical, supportive complement to it.

What ADHD Coaching Actually Looks Like

Four-Step Path to Progress.png

ADHD coaching is collaborative and focused on the challenges you are dealing with now. Instead of being told what you “should” do, you and Liliana identify what is getting in the way, choose an area to work on, and explore strategies that fit your needs.

A session might involve breaking down a task you keep avoiding, creating a realistic plan for the week, improving a routine, or finding a clearer way to manage competing priorities.

Between sessions, you try those strategies in everyday life, with support from Liliana along with resources, tools and worksheets. At the next session, you review what helped, what did not, and what needs adjusting.

Sessions are 60 minutes, held online by video, weekly or every two weeks. Many clients start weekly for extra structure, but the pace is always your choice.
